Davies Harrison Secures Largest Speculative Deal
September 1, 2004 |
Liquorice Park – the 125,000 sq ft CDP Ltd (Marshall Construction) scheme in the heart of Trafford Park – has been sold to the Arlington Investors Ltd in one of the largest speculative industrial sales in the North West.
Situated on Ashburton Rd in the heart of Trafford Park, Liquorice Park comprises a highly prestigious industrial estate on 22 acres of prime industrial land, with speculative industrial units ranging from 5,000 sq ft up to 37,000 sq ft. Due to be completed in September 2004 each unit has a self contained yard and car parking facilities.
Rick Davies of letting agents Davies Harrison states: “This has been a significant deal in the investment market identifying the keenness that funds have for acquiring quality industrial schemes in the North West’s premier industrial location.”
Rick continues: “Arlington has taken advantage of such a strong market by acquiring the scheme off the market, reflecting vacant possession values rather than extremely competitive yields reflecting a fully let scheme. It is also an excellent deal for CDP Ltd who has secured a sale of all the first phase.”
Davies Harrison and DGI acted on behalf of CDP Ltd. Tudor Toone represented Arlington Investors Ltd. Davies Harrison and FPD Savills have been re-retained to market the scheme. |
