DAVIES HARRISON ZIPS UP ANOTHER DEAL January 30, 2008 Industrial property specialists, Davies Harrison has sold 180,000 sq.ft of YKK’s manufacturing/distribution facility in Runcorn. Regal Estates Ltd acquired the distribution facility, which is situated on Whitehouse Vale Industrial Estate. YKK are still a substantial occupier on Whitehouse Vale occupying over 200,000 sq.ft for their production and distribution. Rick Davies of Davies Harrison says: “There was an unprecedented interest in this building with Regal Estates Ltd securing the deal at best bids. In a market where many deals are taking several months to complete, it was a real achievement that we were able to exchange within four days of the deal being agreed.” Regal Estates Ltd intends to carry out a significant refurbishment spending over £2,000,000 on the whole building and feel confident in the local and regional market. They will be targeting occupiers looking for units from 10,000 sq.ft upwards. Davies Harrison has been retained by Regal Estates Ltd to let the remaining accommodation. Back
